Ezra 4:15

SV	Opdat men zoeke in het boek der kronieken uwer vaderen, zo zult gij vinden in het boek der kronieken, en weten, dat dezelve stad een rebelle stad geweest is, en den koningen en landschappen schade aanbrengende, en dat zij daarbinnen afval gesticht hebben, van oude tijden af; daarom is dezelve stad verwoest.
WLC	דִּ֡י יְבַקַּר֩ בִּֽסְפַר־דָּכְרָ֨נַיָּ֜א דִּ֣י אֲבָהָתָ֗ךְ וּ֠תְהַשְׁכַּח בִּסְפַ֣ר דָּכְרָנַיָּא֮ וְתִנְדַּע֒ דִּי֩ קִרְיְתָ֨א דָ֜ךְ קִרְיָ֣א מָֽרָדָ֗א וּֽמְהַנְזְקַ֤ת מַלְכִין֙ וּמְדִנָ֔ן וְאֶשְׁתַּדּוּר֙ עָבְדִ֣ין בְּגַוַּ֔הּ מִן־יֹומָ֖ת עָלְמָ֑א עַ֨ל־דְּנָ֔ה קִרְיְתָ֥א דָ֖ךְ הָֽחָרְבַֽת׃
Trans.	dî yəḇaqqar bisəfar-dāḵərānayyā’ dî ’ăḇâāṯāḵə ûṯəhašək^aḥ bisəfar dāḵərānayyā’ wəṯinəd^a‘ dî qirəyəṯā’ ḏāḵə qirəyā’ mārāḏā’ ûməhanəzəqaṯ maləḵîn ûməḏinān wə’ešətadûr ‘āḇəḏîn bəḡaû^ah min-ywōmāṯ ‘āləmā’ ‘al-dənâ qirəyəṯā’ ḏāḵə hāḥārəḇaṯ:

AC	טו די יבקר בספר דכרניא די אבהתך ותהשכח בספר דכרניא ותנדע די קריתא דך קריא מרדא ומהנזקת מלכין ומדנן ואשתדור עבדין בגוה מן יומת עלמא על דנה--קריתא דך החרבת
ASV	that search may be made in the book of the records of thy fathers: so shalt thou find in the book of the records, and know that this city is a rebellious city, and hurtful unto kings and provinces, and that they have moved sedition within the same of old time; for which cause was this city laid waste.
BE	So that search may be made in the book of the records of your fathers: and you will see in the book of the records that this town has been uncontrolled, and a cause of trouble to kings and countries, and that there were outbursts against authority there in the past: for which reason the town was made waste.
Darby	that search may be made in the book of the annals of thy fathers: so shalt thou find in the book of the annals and know that this city is a rebellious city, which has done damage to kings and provinces, and that they have raised sedition within the same of old time, for which cause this city was destroyed.
ELB05	damit man in dem Buche der Denkwürdigkeiten deiner Väter nachsuche; und du wirst in dem Buche der Denkwürdigkeiten finden, und wirst erkennen, daß diese Stadt eine aufrührerische Stadt gewesen ist, und nachteilig den Königen und Ländern, und daß man von den Tagen der Vorzeit her Empörung darin gestiftet hat, weswegen diese Stadt zerstört worden ist.
LSG	Qu'on fasse des recherches dans le livre des mémoires de tes pères; et tu trouveras et verras dans le livre des mémoires que cette ville est une ville rebelle, funeste aux rois et aux provinces, et qu'on s'y est livré à la révolte dès les temps anciens. C'est pourquoi cette ville a été détruite.
Sch	damit man im Buche der Denkwürdigkeiten deiner Väter nachforsche; dann wirst du in dem Buch der Denkwürdigkeiten finden und erfahren, daß diese Stadt aufrührerisch und den Königen und Statthaltern schädlich gewesen ist, und daß Gewalttätigkeiten darin begangen worden sind von alters her, weshalb die Stadt auch zerstört worden ist.
